One day we were invited to visit The Summer Palace, an architectural treasure of the last, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
Walking through long, colorful, painted galleries alongside the lake, I was surprised to see the way it was painted, turning upside down, all I knew and felt comfortable about colors.
This was my first confrontation with a striking new, strange, artistic, emotional, feeling, generated by the millennial Chinese culture.
There were many experiences to follow and a lot to learn.
