I do not know what others feel, but I observed that the way I am paintings, the quality of strokes I put down, the colors I use, to be tightly connected
to the mood I am in, influenced by the interior dialog of my mind and the feelings of my heart. It would be unrealistic to expect myself to be even, in a robust good mood, balanced and happy. Life influences our mood and determines what and how we paint. In 2009 after a mammogram which I was told by doctors that raised suspicions, I entered a period of stress and uncertainties.
Continuing painting, I was curious to observe how my deeply subconscious and conscious worries are reflected in my spontaneous paintings. Yes, they did, and I gave them the titles to match their expressed content, like, Worries, Tension, Biopsy, Aggression.
